Bhubaneswar Kendra of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was inaugurated by the then President of India Late Sri Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy on 27th Dec 1978 and the Bhavan's Centre for Communication and Management (BCCM) was inaugurated by the former President of India Late Sri R. Venkatraman in January 2003.

Bhavan's Centre for Communication and Management  

The BCCM has added another feather in its cap by establishing Bhavan's Institute of Management and introduce two years full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). This programme is approved and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, as an autonomous organization. The centre was inaugurated by His Hon'ble Excellency Sri Rameswar Thakur, the then Governor of Orissa on 14th Sept' 2006.

LOCATION  

This Institute is located in the heart of Bhubaneswar. The BCCM is strategically located at a distance of 2 KM from the Railway station, 3 KM from the Airport and 1 KM from the State Assembly. Other important buildings near the institute campus are : The Reserve Bank of India, PMG Office, Office of the CGM (Telecom), Rebindra Mandap, SBI (Local Head Office), Orissa Secretariat, Bhubaneswar Development Authority etc.
