Student Activities

To develop in the students the managerial skills demanded by practical work, in-house activities are organized by the students by forming different clubs. These clubs help the students to upgrade themselves with the latest happenings and also inculcate the required organizational skills to work in groups while organizing seminars, quiz programs, etc.

Shrusti

The focus is on building marketing skills and developing the knowledge of students in different fields of marketing such as retail management, supply chain management, strategic marketing, green marketing, advertising, etc. The institute aims to explore career opportunities within these fields for the students.

Spandhan

The HR club helps to enhance the capability and credibility of aspiring HR professionals. It focuses on organizing different events such as quizzes, group discussions, panel discussions, seminars, workshops, etc. covering HR topics like labor laws, training and development, industrial relations, HR accounting, strategic HRM, stress management, public relations, etc.

Surabhi

The Cultural Club helps in organizing functions like the Annual Day, Fresher's Party, Farewell, etc. It organizes celebrations like Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja, Ethnic Day, Foundation Day, etc. It facilitates the activities of renowned cultural organizations like ICCR and Spic Macay.

Shilpi

The Placement Cell is actively initiated and participated in by students, equally backed up by the institute. It assists the placement department in organizing summer internships for students as well as providing them with a corporate database for final placement. The club works hand-in-hand with the institute to organize on-campus and off-campus interviews for students, preparation of placement brochures, visiting companies and giving presentations for placement, gathering information about employment opportunities from sources like newspapers, placement agencies, institute alumni, personal references, etc., and participating in SIP competitions in-house and outside.

Santusthi

he Canteen and Facilities Management Club takes care of the quality of food and canteen facilities. It is responsible for the proper functioning of hostels in the institute. The club undertakes an anti-ragging campaign before the start of a new session every year and ensures implementation throughout the year.

Samriddhi

The finance club provides an actual platform to explore the application of financial concepts through discussions on current economic issues. It serves as an opportunity for students to learn from actual experience in trading and investing by arranging mock trading sessions. The club also arranges guest lectures and workshops in various sectors of finance such as banking, insurance, portfolio management, etc.

Suraksha

The Systems Club provides a solid foundation for Systems students beyond classroom teaching. It encourages activities that include the latest developments in the field of computers that benefit businesses and create real-life experiences. It organizes workshops on the scope and career opportunities in the IT sector, coordinates the integrated software of the institute, and manages the language lab so as to provide an opportunity to each and every student. It also coordinates the course of ERP/SAP provided to the students.

Spardha

The Sports Club encourages students to develop their sports skills in various outdoor and indoor games. It facilitates students to participate in inter-college and intra-college sports competitions. It provides facilities like basketball, volleyball, shuttle badminton, football, and cricket. It also organizes in-house competitions for indoor and outdoor sports, debate, painting, rangoli, essay, poetry, and other literary activities, as well as coordinates the movie club.

Sampark

The Alumni Club keeps continuous touch with institute alumni. It maintains and tries to update the alumni database every year and is responsible for the publication of the alumni directory. The club has developed an online alumni forum which will be directly linked to the institute website to facilitate better alumni interaction. It organizes an alumni meet every year and coordinates Saturday lectures.

Samanwaya

This club is responsible for conducting the management fest, which is a mega event conducted every year. It distributes responsibilities to different clubs to make the event successful. The club is also responsible for the code of conduct of students within the institute.
