Dr Subrat Swain is an Associate professor in the area of IT and marketing at BCCM, Bhubaneswar.

Dr. Subrat Swain is a passionate educator and accomplished IT consultant with over 24 years of combined experience in industry and academia. Holding triple master’s degrees in Management (MBA), Information Technology (MCA), and Environmental Science (MSc), Dr. Swain exemplifies interdisciplinary expertise and lifelong learning. He completed his doctoral research at Sri Sri University, Cuttack, focusing on “Impact of Social Media on Consumer Buying Behaviour.”

Throughout his career, Dr. Swain has held key positions in organizations such as Interlink Information System Pvt. Ltd., Machine Tools India Ltd., Wipro, and WilhLoesch India Pvt. Ltd., where he worked on projects spanning system analysis, supply chain & logistics management, and international client engagement. Transitioning to academia in 2008, he has been instrumental in shaping future leaders at BCCM and Srusti Academy of Management.

Dr. Swain is committed to continuous learning, having achieved multiple certifications in IT, including Client Server Technology, Hardware & Networking, Graphic Design, MCSE, and JIRA. He is an active researcher, with several publications in reputed national and international journals and regular presentations at conferences. Additionally, he has designed and delivered various training programs on CRM Dynamics, Business Central, TNT, TSCM, Synthesia (AI), Jira, Angular, PHP, Prezi, and more. He also serves as a consultant to several IT and ITES firms, including Dahlia Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
